The Lighthouse is dedicated to our clients’ confidentiality. We are committed to following all state, federal, and HIPAA laws.

Clients Rights

Our treatment center provides a respectful, clean, safe, and supportive environment for all our clients. Our facility is structured to provide, preserve, and protect all clients’ rights, which are outlined in a welcome packet given to all clients upon admission.

Items to Pack

  • Pack comfortable, modest clothing for a co-ed environment. Avoid distractions.
  • Bring athletic shoes and workout clothes for the gym.
  • Carry personal hygiene items without alcohol content.
  • Bring medications in prescription bottles. Provide a list of previous medications.
  • Carry a valid California or State ID, insurance card, and cash/gift cards for shopping.
  • Ensure cigarettes, disposable vapes, and vape juice are unopened.
  • Regular vapes are allowed. Vape juice is tested on arrival.

Over the counter medicines provided

We request that you do not bring OTC medications. We have all types of OTC medication available. If you do bring OTC meds with you, our staff will hold them for you.  Prescription medications must be in their respective prescription bottles. No exceptions.

  • Benadryl (Diphenhydramine) 25mg, 1 tab
  • Daily Multivitamin, 1 tab
  • DayQuil, 2 tablets OR 2 TBSP (30mL)
  • Docusate Sodium/Colace, 100mg
  • Famotidine/Pepcid AC, 20mg
  • Gas-X/Simethicone (125mg)
  • Ibuprofen 200mg
  • Loratadine/Claritin, 10mg
  • Magnesium Citrate, 10oz

If you are required to take a particular OTC medicine that we do not provide, please have a prescription from your doctor indicating why OTC medicine is needed and the frequency required.

Visiting

Clients may have visitors on Saturdays. Visitors are required to participate in family therapy and group meetings.

Phone Use

Clients may have access to their personal cell phones all the time, however, clients are expected to keep their cell phones on mute or vibrate during group sessions and individual therapy. This is to ensure a distraction-free environment for both themselves and others in the program.
